The next play in the 300 series is 332- the FB quickside trap. This play sets up 3-2-8 very well and can be set up by 3-2-8 as well.

Quickguard- trap 2 hole.

Center- first quick.

Strongguard- covered- influence & out- (only 1 MLB) 2LBs- A gap track.
Uncovered- double nose.

Strongtackle- MDLB (most dangerous LB)

Swingman- DMMS.

Tailback- fake 3-2-8.

3-2-8.

The next play that i will be discussing is the sweep to the Tailback. 3-2-8, pronounced as three, two, eight. The reason it is pronounced like that is because it can sometimes be confused with 228 and then you're in trouble haha.
Without further ado, 3-2-8.
Base blocking rules:
Quicktackle- DMFS (deep man far side)
Quickguard- pull strong, log inside.
Center- playside/backside.
Strongguard- pull strong, kickout #4
Strongtackle- base/replace. (5 tech- make a 59 call and go first inside to LB)
Strongend- double team DE with HB. (59 call- block down on 5 tech)
Swingman- FS.
Tailback- 300 tom motion- follow QG.
Fullback- fake 332- chop first man off QGs tail.
Halfback- outside shoulder of #3 (DE)
Quarterback- give TB, carry out 319 run fake.
*ST- no 59 call if there is already a goaline call. (Double 1's)
Ive attached the play vs. A 50 with a 59 call. I didn't go into much depth about footwork. But i figured its almost been a year so i may go ahead and write a post haha.
Hope this helped coaches!
Holler if you need anything.

349

Hey y'all, today's installment of the Slot-T will be 349 aka the bucksweep.

It's one of my favorite plays as it has many variations and everyone loves the misdirection.

First things first, blocking rules:
My handwriting is horrible so bear with me.

The SMs block is the most important block on this play.

You can goal line this play if there are double 1 techs. Only two people change their blocking assignments.

Sorry that I dont go into much detail. I can answer any questions you have I've just been busy with the holidays and such.

333(trap)

Hey men, looks as though we have made it too the 300 series which is awesome as it is my second favorite series. The 300 series is the bucksweep series which, every wing-t coach in history knows it. The slot-t 300 series has traps to both the strong and quick sides, a sweep to both sides and the bootlegs to both sides.
So, lets jump into the trap play 333.
This play is a trap to the FB up the right side of the line but it bends back to the left, so the trap starts left and ends right.
The SG traps first past the center.
The QG goes inside to get the linebacker.
The QT goes and gets most dangerous linebacker.
The QB takes the "300" steps which, from what ive seen are just a reverse pivot turning his back to the L.O.S.
The QB then hands the ball to the FB with one hand while faking the bucksweep to the HB.
The SM has #4 to #5
SE releases to #6
ST has nearest linebacker to #5
TB has #5 unless TBA is called. If TBA is called then fake 8HR.
TBA- same at 333 but with the TB faking 8HR.

Blocking variations on 234/236

Okay so, I've had a few questions about the blocking rules for 234/236 and why it's checked at the line.

234- the SG and ST - over, inside.
236- 5 technique- SG and SE double team the 5 and the HB Kicksout the first to show.

Hopes this helps guys.

228

The next and final play of the 200 series (except for a few special plays) is 228 "the pitch" this play has the exact same backfield action as the previous plays except the HB takes a step forward like 234/236 and then arcs out and blocks the most dangerous player.

The QB rides the FB into the line and then pulls the ball and pitches to the TB. Do NOT pitch the ball if an opposing color crosses your face.

The FB carries out his fake by "Rocking the baby" pretending he has the ball. Get tackled.

The TB motions to 1 yard behind the FB and then receives the pitch. Do not turn up field, this play is designed to hit the side line. It is a great 4th down play.

The quickside of the line throws downfield. The strong side scoops.

QB- Snap the ball when the TB is behind the FB and pitch after the fake. Sell it.

243 TT

243 Tackle trap is one counter play to 234/236. This is one of the least ran plays that i have seen but it is potentially deadly if ran right. (Heck, all Slot-T plays are potentially deadly) The backfield action is pretty much the same in all the 200 series with the Tailback running Tom motion, the Fullback hitting the 4 hole, and the Halfback starts in the same direction like he's going to block a LB or DE. On this play he takes a step towards the strong side, then cuts back towards the center. The QB keeps the ball on his hip and carries out the 200 series steps. The FB hits the 4 hole and fills where the strong tackle vacated when he started trapping. The line blocking is pretty simple. The rules are listed on the picture and are pretty accurate.
